Barry, Robert "Bob" Age 83, passed away on April 3rd at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. Bob was born on January 9, 1931 in Oak Park, IL. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. Bob was united in marriage to Charlene in 1962 and they raised their five children in Winfield, IL. He was employed by the U.S. Government as a social security fraud investigator for 30 years. Bob will be remembered for his singing, his great sense of humor, his generosity towards others as well as his love of his family and church. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Bob is survived by his wife, Charlene Barry; his children, Meg Michaels, David Tortuga, Dan Barry, Emily Barry and Liz Luchyn; as well as his grandchildren, Sophia, Elston, Ruby, Sydney, Izzy, Abby, Andy, Jack, Lauren and Macy; his sisters, Nancy Frazier, Sally Bonner, Judy Martin and brother, John Barry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Ruby Barry and his granddaughter, Julia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Kendall County Food Pantry, 208 Beaver Street, Yorkville, IL.
