Brackett, Jimmie E. 83, of Aurora, passed away on September 25, 2013. He was born on March 19, 1930 in Aurora, IL the son of Wilbur and Ora Brackett. Jimmie and his twin brother Jackie proudly served their country with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He had a passion for carpentry and was a warm and gentle man. He is survived by his children; Dale (Patty) Brackett, Terri (Dean) Hiles, Tammy (Gary) Williams, Vickie (George) Hamilton, Sherri (Bruce Bernat) Brackett and Kim Pryor, 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Jimmie Brackett; twin brotker Jackie Brackett, and 1 sister Alice Weigand. Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave., Montgomery, IL.
