Dady, George D. 82, of Aurora, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at Rush-Copley Medical Center. He was born on May 22, 1930 in Aurora. George served his country for 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of the American Legion and many social clubs in Aurora. He was a Past Vice President and life member of local 1202 International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers. He retired from Arrow Gear Company in 1996. George was an avid bowler and a lifetime member of the Barber Greene Hunting and Fishing Club. Survivors include his wife of 57 1/2 years, Shirley Dady; 5 children, Debbie Loveless, George Michael Dady, Brian (Diama) Dady, Gary Dady, and David (Rosalinda) Dady; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Richard Dady and Pauline Dady; 2 sisters, Jean (Jerry) Malooly and Sharon (John) Powell; and many nieces, nephews and friends that will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, George L. and Muriel Dady; and his stepmother, Dorothy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 10:00AM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora. 630-631-5500.
