Mihulka, Fredrick L. 90, an 85 year resident of Naperville, formally of Iowa, Died peacefully October 19, 2012, in Lilburn, GA. He was born August 4, 1922 in Debuique, Iowa. He was a beloved uncle to Patricia (James) Cain of Lilburn Ga, and Mike (Cecelia) Quilty of Plano, IL; Adored great-uncle to Beth (Dave) Godde, Sean (Kaylei) Cain, Ryan Quilty, Rebecca (Ben) Sperry. He is also survived by his great-grand-nephews Anthony Godde, Nicholas Godde, Dominick Godde, Aiden Cain, and Silas VanderMey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick L. Margret Mihulka; beloved sister, Mary M Quilty, and Nephew, Brian L. Quilty. Fred attended Naperville High School and graduated with a business degree from North Central College In Naperville. He was also a WWII Veteran and received a purple heart for his actions in duty at Iwo Jima. He owned and operated Home Lumber & Coal company for many years. Later he worked for Pyrimid before moving to Mid America Bank from which he retired. He was a longtime member of St. Peter & Paul church in Naperville. Fred can be remembered for his jokes, love of people & animals, and his tremendous generosity. Services are private.
