Alberta E. (Treadway) Fetgatter Obituary
Fetgatter, Alberta E. (nee Treadway) 90, born June 30, 1923; absent from the body and present with the Lord, July 25, 2013 at Seasons Hospice finally succumbing to Alzheimer's. Alberta was born in Christopher, IL, the youngest child of John, Sr. and Mary Treadway. She married the love of her life, Elwin "Lem", on January 20, 1940. She was a volunteer at Copley Hospital. Was a longtime member of Fourth St. Methodist Church. She was an Eastern Star, member of Republican Women, Women's Club and Women of the Moose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin in 1988; her parents, John and Mary Treadway; sisters, Ona, Georgia, Zelma; one brother, John, Jr.; 3 nieces; and 2 nephews. She is survived by three children, Jackie Hankes and her children; Kevin Hankes and his children, Michelle and Jess; Jodi (Craig) Bradford and their children, Chad, Cory and Chase; Tim Hankes and his children, TJ and Jacob, Michael (Carolyn) and his daughter, Nicole; Larry (Nancy) Fetgatter and their children, Mark and Jason; Sandra Gramly and her children, Todd (Tina) and their child, Logan; Heather (Eric) Matthys and their children, Jared, Nolan and Megan; Mindy (Billy) Everett and their children, Grace, Caroline and Sophia; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home at 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL. Funeral Service will be Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home. Dan Sullivan will officiate with interment at Lincoln Memorial Park.
