Ralph E. Lipscomb

Lipscomb, Ralph E. Age 89, of Naperville, IL, passed away November 28, 2012 at Edward Hospital. Born October 14, 1923 in Naperville, IL. He is survived by four children, Sally Lipscomb of Yorkville, IL, Randy (Pat) of Naperville, Jeff (Lori) of Nashville, TN, Marjie (Mike) Kornfeind of Aurora, IL; five grandchildren, Jen, Jesse, Michael, Mary and Katie; three great-grandchildren, Jamie, Mackenzie and Sullivan. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Martha; wife, Marjorie; sisters, Ethel Schuck and Esther Rogers; brothers, Harry and Harold Lipscomb. He was a lifelong Naperville resident. Veteran of World War II wounded in Battle of Bulge. Received combat infantry badge, bronze star and purple heart during WWII. Past commander of the Naperville VFW Post 3983. Retired from masonary after 50 years of service. Member of Grace United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Naperville Responds for our Veterans. Visitation from 5:00-8:00p.m. Friday at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home 44 S. Mill St. Naperville. Funeral services Saturday December 1, 2012 9:30a.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Homes. Interment will be at Naperville Cemetery.
