Judith Olson

Olson, Judith (nee Johnson) Passed away on November 11, 2013. She was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on January 24, 1922, to Alma and Anton Johnson. She is survived by loving daughters, Holly Olson (Paris, France and recently Fontana, WI), Linda Olson-Roach (Aurora, IL) and Leigh Anne Olson (Fontana, WI). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Olson; sisters, Alice Parker and Bernice Johnson (in infancy); brother, Floyd Johnson (in World War II), and son-in-law, John Roach. She graduated from The University of North Dakota with a degree in education. She moved from there to Aurora in 1946 when she married Ken (Ken Olson Construction) and worked in their family business until his death in 1976. She moved to Fontana, WI in 1983 to be by her beloved Lake Geneva. She was a proud Swedish American and would let you know it! She loved to party, read and sew and was especially proud of her 100 or so baby quilts that she made and gave as gifts to family and friends. She enjoyed her many travels around the world. She was also a twelve year breast cancer survivor. She can include being a proud Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. RIP Mom, "Mimzie", and "Maudie" she welcomed all of her nicknames. Happy Trails Services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Toynton Funeral Home, Walworth, WI. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 12:00 noon.
