Dean J. Goble

Goble, Dean J. Age 80, of Elburn, IL passed away unexpectedly after a long illness on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL. He was born on February 8, 1933 in Aurora, IL the son of Edward and Gladys (Kostka) Goble. Mr. Goble was united in marriage on October 8, 1955 to the former Marilyn Trapp and they spent the next 58 happy years together. Dean served his country proudly as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed for many years in the construction industry and was a longtime member of Pipefitters Local 319 in Aurora, IL. Dean was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Goble of Elburn, IL; his son, Thomas Goble of Seattle, WA; his grandson, Benjamin Goble of Wisconsin; his brother, Bruce (Kathy) Goble of California; his sister, Joan (Jim)Dunlap of Florida; his step-brothers, Ken (Marie) Leifheit of Wisconsin and Gene (Joan) Leifheit of Oswego, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Goble; his mother, Gladys Goble Leifheit; and his daughter, Linda Goble. Funeral services will be private.
